Our commitment
to environmental sustainability

Committed to our stakeholders and committed to the planet, we’ve laid the groundwork for a responsible growth model that considers not just all our current stakeholders but future generations too. As a starting point, we’ve calculated our global carbon footprint across all scopes.

A sustainability journey that involves the entire company, integrating everyone at Konecta and applying sustainable principles at all our sites

We consider the environmental impacts and risks in all our activity. Although the impact of our business model is limited, every company, including ourselves, must adapt to the consequences of climate change and meet regulatory and stakeholder expectations on key issues such as resource consumption. We’re proud of our progress on this, evidenced in our Non-Financial Information Report.

Commitment business-wide

Gen AI and cloud services

We evaluate suppliers’ use of renewable energy and their carbon emission reduction targets.

Site efficiency and offsetting

By reducing our emissions, we help our clients to reduce their scope 3 emissions (i.e. all indirect emissions generated across the value chain).

Sustainable commuting program

We measure all the emissions associated with travel to work, and strive to reduce them through initiatives such as carsharing and bike stations.

Sustainable supply chain

We assess our suppliers’ sustainability practices for alignment with our own, and strongly encourage their own adoption of emissions reduction targets.

2023 saw 500+ trees planted across Turkey, Spain, Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, Guatemala and El Salvador

2024

We planted a further 2300 trees across Peru, Madagascar, Spain, Argentina, Colombia, and helped save 20 hectares of land adjacent to Italy’s Casentino Forest National Park from deforestation.

2025

We’ve already planted 1500 trees in Madagascar, and that’s just the start …

Sustainable commuting
